Doing Good

My trip

Keeping the hotel room for another night was a really good idea. I'm exhausted.

Interesting day. The hotel gave me a pass for 24-Hour Fitness.

So I got up, and went down to breakfast right before seven. Homewood Suites does a great breakfast, and they had scrambled eggs and sausage. (Lots of carb choices which I avoided).

Then got to 24-hour Fitness. They were nice enough, but are REAL stingy on the towels. You have to get them from the front desk and they only want to give out one at a time. Their equipment is great and they had the same elliptical trainer I use. The best thing is that I met this weeks goal. I am going to have to think hard about next week, because of my schedule.

I didn't do enough Glucose tablets while I was working out. My blood sugar hit 70 (by my arm, so it was lower), and I had started getting the shakes. I ate a big sugar pill and that helped, but ended up eating both a Glucerna bar and a scone in the morning to stablize things. BS was 115 in the early afternoon!

Workshop was great. As I figured, their breakfast wasn't a good idea for me, but they did great on lunch -- Jason's Deli. I'm glad I brought my own though because they didn't break for lunch until 12:30 and I really need to eat around 11:30. Noon pushes it.

I'm really glad I don't have to drive home tonight and have a comfortable bed and room to sleep in.
