Dulce has 1 Teacup Beginner’s Q, and 2 Teacup G1 Qs.

Dulce got her first Q with a third place in Blackjack.

I counted wrong so Macy was Elimated with 22 points.

In our first standard run, Macy had 0 faults and good time. Dulce started to take off but came back. She did end up with an extra obstacle and went in the wrong end of the tunnel.

Dulce took some time getting started Standard run. Macy bailed on the teeter but didnt need the run.

The last game of the day was strategic pairs which was a blast. Macy and Dulce each Qed.

Macy has both Her Intermediate and G2 titles now .

Former Student remembered Marcie

I’m leaving the gym and a nice young man stopped me and asked if I used to teach at Hillcrest, at which I responded I was still there.  He remembered the dog I had that stapled papers.  That was Marcie.

Filling out entry forms is a pain

I’ve been using Labtested Online to enter AKC trials.  I love it, they email me close to opening, I pick the dog and what classes I want to run, I send them my credit card information and I’m done.

I entered a Teacup Trial.  I had to print it out.  I had to find an envelope and address it, had to find a check and fill it out.  Then I had to find stamps and mail it.

I like the first method better.

My landscaper is doing some work on the drainage, and I think the dogs broke through under the fence where they were digging.  At least I saw Macy’s tail go under the fence.  People drove up with Macy, they saw her, picked her and brought her to the door.  It took us some time to get shoes, cookies and leashes.

Maggie was gone – she went half the way up the street according to the Tagg.

The biggest problem is that the home area is just a tad big, and it took her some time to get out of it.

Then she came right back to the house, and went up to Rich while he was working on his bike.

Knee is no fun

Was able to walk in the building and out again but when it was time to run my knee went completely out.

Everybody tried today

To start with, we had a really good Novice Fast run and got our second leg.

She got 2 refusals in Excellent Standard, fast weaves, but bobbled them.  Had a refusal for stopping and eating something in Excellent JWW (yeck).

Dulce finished two courses, but did leave the ring, but came back.  She didn’t do the obstacles in the same order the judge wanted, but we’re getting closer.

Nice course, both girls ran it.

Macy Qrd with a First, Dulce ran out of the ring when she saw the gate.

Macy took 8, 3, 7, Aframe, the two 1s the teeter, then the send. Next the tunnel then out. The whistle blew just as we left the tunnel.

Earnes 60 points, lost 10 to time.

Pain not only affects me but the dogs

Now I don’t know if it is because I don’t run as well, but every single beagle I have owned, has run courses in direct correlation to my pain level.  Which is freaking aggravating, because I want to fight through it.

Last weekend I could barely walk.  I had it together enough to get Macy through a JWW course, but that was it.  Dulce wouldn’t even try.  Not just at the trial but in class too.

This weekend, I was walking better and even doing some running and the silly dog stayed with me and did all the courses.

I sure hope I am feeling good this weekend.
