6.9 is pretty good, keep in mind that the lower you bring it the higher your relative risk for hypoglycemia, so there's not necessarily complete benefits to a low A1c. Its a tightrope that everyone with diabetes walks, but generally its good to stay between 6 and 7, and the difference between the two is marginal in terms of benefit and risk.

I know it's all relative, but a 6.9 A1C is pretty darn good in my book.
