Dexcom is available!
I'm very tempted.
The starter kit is $800. Sensors are $35 a piece and come in a bundle of 5. It would be wonderful if BCBS of Texas would cover it.
I've very tempted to do it without coverage. I would not have to wear the sensors every day.
Comments
Actually, they are currently running an intro offer of $500 for the starter kit. Certainly a hell of a lot less than the Guardian RT, wha?

Just wanted to let you know that I've included your blog in my "Best Diabetes Blogs" on my website, which covers Byetta.
I wanted to provide my readers, who are mostly diabetic, a listing of diabetic blogs that may help them. You can see the perma-article at byettaweightloss.com
Meanwhile, I continue to try to be "the place" for Byetta!
Thanks,
Patrick, Admin

Yes, I'm tempted, too. Anyone know what the sensors for the new Minimed pump + monitor are likely to cost?
AmyT, where did you see that promo price of $500 for the Dexcom?
Thanks,
Eric

I am looking into the Dexcom or the Guardian for my daughter. Any input on either of these? Do they work- are they worth the $$?
