Glucowatch -- good news
The lithium battery is working now! I've put on another expired sensor. It's nice to have the expired ones, as I can practice and don't feel like I'm wasting any sensors. I should have some new sensors tomorrow.
FYI: I certainly think after reading about the Guardian, that the Glucowatch is at least as accurate. The other problems though, just can't be gotten around -- not being able to exercise and get readings is a huge problem.

I agree. Exercise is one of those times I'm probably MOST interested in the nitty gritty details of what's going on!
I think we are on the virge of a lot of new and exciting things as far as glucose monitoring goes. It will be fun to watch how it all evolves!

I'm out of the loop here, but are you using the Glucowatch? I've been interested in that for about a year now, but I had concerns about the "burning" that the people in the studies experienced on their wrists. I have extremely sensitive skin and I scar very easily, so I was wary about exploring this as an option. How is it working out for you?
Or, if you're not on the watch, are you thinking about it?
