Juice (table sugar) isn't as fast or convenient as those 4-gram dextrose tabs. Buy 'em by in the 50-tab bottles, or even by the case. Throw one in your car glove compartment, NOW. Put another at your bedside, NOW. Put one in every bathroom. (As described, people often find themselves in the bathroom doing morning things before they have any indication of what's going on). -------- --------- --------- And then, buy just a couple of the 10-tab plastic tubes. Always carry one in your pocket, and keep it filled! One of these tubes (40 grams of straight dextrose) is enough to get you into good shape in 10-15 minutes from ANY conscious state. Then, eat some real food... The dextrose tabs fly right out of your stomach, if you've still got too much insulin on board, your bG will quickly begin to fall again.
