Whines...
I've been spending all of my writing energy on my final project. It's on WiMAX and is currently pretty close to 10 pages. I would like to have a couple more paragraphs and take it to 11 pages.
I also need to do a Presentation Summary of it once it is finished. That has to be no more than two pages.
I am starting to feel closer to the end of the tunnel. We get our final exam questions on Monday from my other class.
Had to get a blood draw this morning. My hand aches every since. The gal getting the blood couldn't find my veins. She finally did the back of my hand. It feels like it should be black and blue.
Also picked up another month's supply of Symlin while as I at the same building. I'm not 100% happy with it right now, I had the initial 10 pound weight loss, but am now at a slow crawl when it comes to losing weight, and I swear, I am not eating much and doing lots of exercise.
So I'm whining.

I liked at her BD reference, and saw no "needle cutters". I don't know how they assure that the cut needle can't be lost. But, your used/dirty sharps storage problem might be improved my scheme: -------- -------- -------- On BD syringes, cutting off just the needle with a wire cutter or pliers leaves you holding a TINY sharp: easy to drop and loose, VERY HARD to find, and quite hard to pick up after you find it. ------ ------- ------- Instead, I use a needle nose pliers and break off the entire needle assembly. (The entire piece above the shank, about 1/4 inch long. Set the pliers right alongside the wide lip, and twist. It will break on the first try, always.) If you do drop it, it's very easy to spot and pick up (with the pliers). ------- ------- ------- This separates the really dangerous part from the much larger syringe body, reducing the important part of your storage problem by about 95%. I put the U-100 orange cap back on the needle-less plunger body and dispose of that relatively non-dangerous part separately.

The BD Snip Clip actually holds the clipped needles in the device.
Unfortunately I can't seem to find them. My local pharmacy can't order it even with the NDC number. I think I'm going to have to order from the internet if I get one.
Actually my solution is to have a sharp container everywhere where I might need to dispose of a sharp. If I eat out, I put the sharp in my purse with the orange cap on it until I get to a sharps container -- and I do keep one in the car.
